This is a tatted hair bun cover or hair net I am tatting for a customer. I should have it done later tonight. I will be making her one in taupe as well.

Test tatting that shows why you need to learn the Lark’s Head Picot Join to avoid the spot of green color when the dark green ring was joined to the green and white ring in the center. This is also a good case for frontside/backside tatting.

Slightly better inner ring. The rings are much closer together in this test tat.

Test tatting outter rings need to be larger and inner rings need to be closer together to make a proper wreath and still lay flat.

Test tatting, rings and chains. Chains need more ds, or rings need less ds, or both. It is just too tight and cluttered looking.
